Senior Wayfinding Designer

About the role

WSP is seeking a Senior Wayfinding Designer to lead the creation and delivery of wayfinding, signage and placemaking solutions across a variety of projects in the Middle East. The role combines design leadership with project management, working closely with architects, interior designers and clients to shape intuitive navigation experiences in built environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualisation, design development and implementation of wayfinding projects from inception to completion.
• Develop creative direction for signage and placemaking, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Prepare compelling narratives and presentations to communicate design strategies to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate wayfinding solutions into architectural and interior designs.
• Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
• Utilise design software to produce conceptual designs, sketches and detailed illustrations.
• Manage project schedules, resources and workflow to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into project work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Graphic Design or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in wayfinding, signage and environmental graphics across diverse sectors such as hospitality, retail, healthcare, education and mixed‑use developments.
• Proven ability to lead complex wayfinding projects from concept through completion.
