Senior Workplace Manager

About the role

The Senior Workplace Manager will lead workplace and facilities operations across WSP Middle East, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑performing environments that support business growth and employee experience. Reporting to senior leadership, this role oversees multiple offices and project sites, driving operational excellence, sustainability and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workplace and facilities teams across seven offices in four countries, fostering a high‑performance culture focused on service excellence.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programmes, refurbishments, relocations and fit‑outs to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Analyse occupancy and utilisation data to inform space planning and investment decisions.
• Manage relationships with landlords, service providers and vendors, monitoring performance and contractual commitments.
• Develop and control regional workplace budgets, forecasting expenditures and identifying cost‑optimisation opportunities.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and embed ESG principles within workplace operations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and corporate governance standards, supporting audits and business continuity planning.
• Collaborate with global workplace, facilities and real‑estate teams to align regional practices with corporate standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in workplace, facilities or corporate services, including leadership of geographically dispersed teams.
• Proven track record in managing large operational budgets, vendor contracts and workplace transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
• Knowledge of Middle‑East business environments, cultural norms and workplace practices.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Middle East and internationally.
