Services Specialist

About the role

The Services Specialist will manage the procurement of nuclear and non‑nuclear services required for the safe and reliable operation of the Nuclear Power Plant. The role covers the full procurement cycle from requirement definition to post‑award administration, ensuring compliance with quality, health‑safety and engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, plan, schedule and process the purchase of services in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
• Support nuclear supplier qualification and maintain the qualified supplier list.
• Interpret specifications and scope of work, ensuring QA, health‑safety, engineering and end‑user requirements are met.
• Assist in reviewing technical specifications and creating purchase requisitions.
• Develop scope of work, issue RFIs, and align technical evaluation criteria with the SOW.
• Obtain bidders via Supplier Relation Management (SRM) and issue Expressions of Interest when needed.
• Organise supplier meetings and site visits as required.
• Develop detailed procurement plans and adhere to defined KPIs.
• Prepare, review and issue invitation‑to‑tender documents, ensuring compliance with tender processes.
• Coordinate insurance requirements, correspondence between end users and bidders, and verify bid submissions.
• Review technical and commercial evaluation reports, challenge results for fairness, and conduct price benchmarking.
• Negotiate terms, resolve exceptions, and prepare award recommendations with full justification.
• Draft agreement documents, conduct peer reviews, and hand over contracts to the contract management team.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support to team members as needed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of specifications, scope of work, QA, health‑safety and engineering requirements.
• Familiarity with nuclear supplier qualification processes.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage end‑to‑end procurement activities.
