Shift Miller / Chakki Miller

About the role

An experienced Shift Miller / Chakki Miller from a flour mill background is sought to manage milling operations during the shift and ensure optimum flour extraction and quality. The position is based in Sharjah, on a 12-hour shift, six days a week, with a maximum salary of AED 6,000.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and manage flour mill / chakki mill machinery during the shift
• Monitor wheat conditioning, grinding, sifting and flour extraction rates
• Adjust roller mills, plansifters and purifiers to maintain quality and yield
• Ensure production targets, extraction percentage and quality parameters are met
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with the maintenance team
• Maintain shift reports, production logs and quality records
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and safety compliance (HACCP, ISO)
• Lead and guide mill operators and helpers during the shift

Required profile

• At least 5 years as a Shift Miller / Chakki Miller in flour mills (mandatory)
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift, six days a week
• Local and international candidates accepted

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the milling process
• Experience with Bühler, Satake or Alapala machinery preferred
