Simulator Coordinator

About the role

The Simulator Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of all simulator activities and training administration at Air Arabia Academy. This role supports the Operations department, aligns simulator usage with resource availability, and guarantees compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all simulator bookings, confirmations, and access arrangements.
• Create, adjust, and communicate simulator sessions in the booking system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date simulator schedules, dashboards, and utilization reports.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors, Crew Planning, Crew Training, and the Scheduling team.
• Track AOGs, downtime, and maintenance slots, ensuring accurate records.
• Prepare the annual simulator utilization budget and monthly invoicing breakdowns.
• Monitor contracts, certifications, and renewal dates, providing timely reminders.
• Liaise with customers to capture SIM requirements and optimise slot allocation.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background or training in aviation, administration, or related fields.
• Experience in coordination, scheduling, or administrative support within an aviation or training environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with simulator booking and scheduling systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and desktop publishing tools.
• Ability to produce reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
