Site Architect – Construction Supervision (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a highly committed Site Architect to oversee construction from the finishes stage through to handover on high‑rise projects in the UAE. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a solid background in supervision consultancy for super‑high‑rise buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control the quality of finishing works (blockwork, plaster, cladding, joinery, aluminium, etc.) in accordance with contract drawings and specifications.
• Review and manage material submittals, shop drawings, method statements and ensure timely release of submittals.
• Coordinate with main and sub‑contractors, conduct weekly site visits and issue observation reports or NCRs.
• Monitor on‑site quality, conduct defect snagging inspections and ensure compliance with local authority regulations.
• Act as log master for all project submittals across disciplines and track changes that may affect cost or schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Site Project Architect on residential, commercial, hospitality or mixed‑use projects within a consultancy or main‑contractor environment.
• Fluent Arabic speaker with a valid UAE driver’s licence.
• Immediate or short‑notice availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for reviewing IFC drawings and producing modifications.
• Experience in construction supervision, quality control and submittal management.
• Knowledge of UAE local authority regulations and approval processes.
