Site Architect – Finishes (Interior Fitout Works)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Architect – Finishes to lead interior fit‑out and finishing works on site. The role ensures that all architectural finishes are delivered to the highest quality, in line with approved drawings, specifications and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all interior finishing fit‑out and architectural works on site.
• Verify that works follow approved drawings, method statements and project requirements.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals and finishing details; flag discrepancies with MEP/structural designs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to confirm finish quality and resolve technical issues.
• Validate site measurements before fabrication and installation.
• Ensure approved materials are used and installed per specifications.
• Coordinate mock‑ups, sample approvals and architectural interfaces with structural and MEP works.
• Participate in material inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage project timelines, handle multiple projects, and align subcontractors with the construction programme.
• Provide regular site progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in architectural finishing and interior fit‑out.
• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, retail or high‑end interior projects.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and architectural finishing practices.
• Membership in relevant professional bodies is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of architectural finishing materials and installation methods.
• Excellent understanding of fit‑out construction sequences.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
