Site Architect – UAE Projects

About the role

ALSUWEIDI Engineering Consultants is seeking an experienced Site Architect to lead on‑site architectural supervision for multiple projects across the UAE. The role ensures that all building works meet the required legal, technical, quality and contractual standards while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily architectural activities, verify compliance with IFC drawings, specifications and quality requirements, and conduct inspections of workmanship and finishes.
• Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, mock‑ups and samples; manage RFIs and technical clarifications.
• Coordinate architectural work with structural, MEP, interior design, landscape, façade and specialist subcontractors to maintain clash‑free execution.
• Track progress, prepare daily/weekly site reports, inspection records, snag lists and support recovery planning.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and building codes, maintain documentation and support inspections.
• Assist in testing/commissioning interfaces, snagging, de‑snagging and final hand‑over, including as‑built verification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including 4–6 years of UAE site supervision within an engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority regulations and code compliance.
• Proven experience on residential, commercial, hospitality or mixed‑use projects.
