Site Engineer – Construction Supervision

About the role

EMKAAN Architectural & Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join its Dubai team. The role focuses on civil and structural site supervision, quality control, and coordination to ensure all works comply with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc reports for clients and management.
• Act as the main liaison between clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Review and approve drawings, material submittals, work programmes and shop drawings.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections for structural and civil works such as reinforced concrete, piling, post‑tension slabs, precast and steel structures.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, architectural and interior teams for seamless project execution.
• Manage contractor resources, review RFIs, issue site instructions and NCRs.
• Support commercial team with progress bills, variations and claims.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE and environmental standards on‑site and maintain accurate project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction, preferably in site supervision and quality control.
