Site Manager – Data Center Operations

About the role

Eaton is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale data centre projects in Dubai. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from site preparation through construction, testing and commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and environmental (EHS) processes on‑site, including risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.
• Represent the Project Manager during local coordination meetings and act as the primary point of contact for Eaton and third‑party suppliers.
• Coordinate daily site activities, monitor resource availability, and flag quality or quantity gaps to the Project Manager.
• Provide written daily updates on work performed, issues encountered and upcoming plans.
• Support planning to keep the project on schedule and within profitability targets.
• Identify and document extra‑work requests and serve as testing auditor for on‑site commissioning activities.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all required documentation is completed and filed.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large construction sites, preferably data centre or similar high‑tech facilities.
• Ability to work on a rotational schedule (6 weeks on‑site, 1 week home).
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal teams and external contractors.
