Site Nurse – Construction Project (Al-Jurf, UAE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Nurse to join our Al-Jurf construction project. The role involves delivering on-site medical care, handling emergencies, and supporting occupational health for a large, multinational workforce in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-aid, primary healthcare and emergency response to site personnel.
• Stabilise injured workers and coordinate ambulance or hospital transfers.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment, first-aid stations and medical inventory.
• Conduct health assessments, monitor chronic conditions and ensure medical records comply with UAE regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi OSHAD/ADOSH standards and support health-related incident investigations.
• Perform routine vital checks, health surveillance, vaccination campaigns and heat-stress monitoring.
• Deliver awareness sessions on dehydration, fatigue and related topics.
• Prepare monthly health reports and liaise with local hospitals and service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing with a valid Abu Dhabi DOH nursing licence.
• 8-10 years of nursing experience, including 3-5 years in construction, industrial, oil & gas or remote-site settings.
• Proven experience managing workplace injuries and emergency response for a multinational workforce.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages such as Hindi, Urdu or Arabic are a plus.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of OSHAD / ADOSH occupational health standards.
• First-aid and emergency medical response.
