Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of our enterprise applications and infrastructure in a high‑availability environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support business‑critical applications, guaranteeing high availability and optimal performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Support Java and .NET Core applications and administer Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB databases.
• Integrate APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
• Build, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Deploy and support containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and lead incident/problem management activities.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Support, DevOps, or Application Support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in financial services, wealth management, brokerage or trading platforms is mandatory.
• Understanding of trading lifecycles and financial application support.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with Java.NET Core, and modern application architectures.
• Expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB databases.
• Hands‑on experience with API integrations and microservices.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in monitoring, incident management, and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure application deployment.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
