Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – AI Solutions

About the role

DeepLight AI is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to own the production readiness, resilience, and operational health of its AI‑driven solutions for banking‑grade clients across the GCC. You will work at the intersection of automated software engineering, high‑scale cloud infrastructure, and next‑generation AI evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Implement load‑testing, fault‑injection and self‑healing automation to sustain banking‑scale traffic for web, mobile and AI microservices.
• Build Python‑driven, CI/CD‑integrated regression test suites that validate application logic, data pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) states.
• Define and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs); create real‑time telemetry, dashboards and proactive alerts.
• Integrate AI evaluation tools (e.g., DeepEval, Ragas) into deployment pipelines to benchmark model accuracy, hallucinations and retrieval performance.
• Automate security scans and privacy checks to meet strict banking data residency standards while optimizing cloud spend.

Required profile

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure and reliability engineering, preferably in regulated financial environments.
• Experience designing and operating observability frameworks for high‑traffic, mission‑critical systems.
• Ability to translate complex AI model outputs into measurable quality metrics.
