Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our IT team in Abu Dhabi. The role combines software and systems engineering to ensure our large‑scale, distributed services are reliable, scalable and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Develop and maintain software solutions using Java and .NET Core.
• Manage and optimise relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and support NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Architect and integrate APIs and microservices for business applications.
• Apply cybersecurity principles and ensure compliance with data‑privacy and security standards.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor emerging FinTech technologies including blockchain, AI/ML and digital wallets.
• Create and maintain system architecture diagrams using Visio or Draw.io.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using JIRA and Confluence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and software development.
• Domain experience in wealth management or trading and brokerage platforms.
• Strong understanding of database management and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
