Slitting Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Slitting Operator to join our packaging production line in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves setting up and running slitting machines to cut rolls of packaging material to customer‑specified widths, while ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Set up slitting machines according to job specifications, sales orders and production schedules.
• Operate the equipment safely and monitor the process to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Inspect finished rolls for defects, measure dimensions and record output in the logbook and Oracle system.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major failures to maintenance personnel.
• Maintain 5S+S standards, complete cleaning checklists, and conduct line clearance after each job.
• Identify recyclable and non‑recyclable waste and label it appropriately.
• Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE and keep the work area clean and organized.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members.
• Willingness to perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
