SOC Operations Specialist

About the role

spiderSilk is looking for a senior security professional to lead its internal Security Operations Center. You will own day‑to‑day monitoring, detection, incident response and continuous improvement of security tooling, ensuring the organisation stays resilient against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Manage continuous monitoring, detection and response across the enterprise.
• Configure, optimise and maintain CrowdStrike Falcon and Wazuh platforms.
• Lead incident response from triage through containment, eradication and recovery.
• Analyse alerts, logs and telemetry to identify anomalies and intrusions.
• Develop and maintain playbooks, runbooks and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and business units to harden security controls on infrastructure, endpoints and cloud services.
• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting activities.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote knowledge sharing.
• Produce clear reports for technical and executive stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in security operations, SOC or related cybersecurity functions.
• Proven hands‑on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon and Wazuh.
• Strong background in incident response, threat hunting and log analysis.
• Solid understanding of network security, endpoint protection and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).
