Social Media & Communications Manager – MEA

About the role

BIRKENSTOCK is seeking a Social Media and Communications Manager for the Middle East & Africa region to lead its social media strategy, create compelling brand storytelling, and engage audiences across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute BIRKENSTOCK’s social media strategy across MEA, aligning with regional brand objectives and seasonal priorities.
• Oversee partner‑created content, manage retail social channels, community engagement and creator collaborations.
• Monitor performance, analyse insights and provide recommendations to optimise content and strategy.
• Collaborate with digital and performance media teams to ensure consistency across organic, paid and e‑commerce campaigns.
• Manage external agency relationships, briefs and budgets.
• Support regional PR, media relations, product seeding, launches and events.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital content creation, social media management or digital marketing, preferably in fashion, lifestyle or sports.
• Strong knowledge of Meta, TikTok and Snapchat platforms, algorithms and content formats.
• Creative, curious and up‑to‑date with emerging trends and consumer behaviour.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards for brand consistency.
• Fluent in English; Arabic and French are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using Canva.
• Experience using CapCut or similar video editing tools.
