Social Media Manager

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Social Media Manager to join its Advertising & Brand Marketing team. The role will shape and execute the social media strategy for the upcoming luxury resort, creating engaging, platform‑native content and fostering community interaction across key channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of a comprehensive social media strategy across all major platforms.
• Plan, publish, and optimize day‑to‑day social content on owned channels.
• Collaborate with the in‑house creative and production team to produce high‑quality, social‑first assets.
• Translate campaign announcements and moments into compelling, native social narratives.
• Maintain content calendars aligned with campaigns, cultural relevance, and brand timing.
• Assist influencer, creator, and talent‑led initiatives from planning through execution.
• Manage community engagement, respond to audiences, and escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor performance signals, adjust content direction, and ensure alignment with brand standards and luxury positioning.
• Support the Director of Social Media as an operational and strategic partner across multiple workstreams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media for premium, luxury, or culturally driven brands.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on operational capability.
• Solid understanding of platform mechanics, content formats, and algorithm‑friendly distribution.
• Ability to interpret performance data and adapt content accordingly.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with creative, marketing, PR, and external partners.
• Hospitality experience not mandatory, but a focus on brand building over social commerce is essential.
