Social Media Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a creative and results‑driven Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our brand’s online presence across multiple platforms. The role involves creating engaging content, executing campaigns, and supporting lead generation through strategic digital marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Create, schedule and publish content on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter) and YouTube.
• Plan monthly content calendars in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Write compelling captions, copy and campaign messaging.
• Coordinate with graphic designers and videographers to produce visual assets.
• Monitor trends, competitor activity and industry updates to keep content fresh.
• Engage with the community by responding to comments, messages and inquiries promptly.
• Track and analyse performance using analytics tools and prepare regular reports.
• Support paid social campaigns in partnership with the digital marketing team.
• Collaborate with internal departments to promote events, services and recruitment campaigns while ensuring brand consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of major social platforms and best practices.
• Excellent copywriting and communication abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Creative mindset with an eye for trends and engaging content.

Required skills

• Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer (scheduling and analytics tools).
• Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (design tools).
• Basic photography and video editing.
• Social media advertising and campaign optimisation.
• Knowledge of SEO and content‑marketing principles.
