Social Media Specialist

About the role

Huda Beauty is seeking a Social Media Specialist to plan, coordinate, and optimise social content across all platforms. The role focuses on building strategic content calendars, maximising performance, and supporting brand priorities, product launches, and cultural moments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain weekly and monthly social content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns and cultural moments.
• Collaborate with creative teams, providing feedback on video and graphic assets to ensure engaging, platform‑optimised content.
• Partner with Analytics to review performance, identify trends and continuously test new formats and publishing strategies.
• Lead video optimisation, including titles, thumbnails, tags, descriptions, lengths and hooks tailored to platform algorithms.
• Drive A/B testing of thumbnails, hooks and video lengths to refine performance strategies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of YouTube and Snapchat ecosystems, including algorithms, best practices and analytics tools.
• Experience with video optimisation techniques such as metadata, thumbnails and content formatting.
• Comfortable working with data and analytics to extract insights and influence content planning.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage calendars well ahead of deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence creative and marketing teams.
• Passion for beauty, social storytelling and video‑first platforms.
