Social Studies Teacher – August 2026 start

About the role

The PostADNOC Schools are seeking high‑performing Social Studies Teachers to join their ADNOC School campus starting August 2026. You will deliver the Massachusetts State Curriculum to secondary‑level students in modern facilities across Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Create a climate for learning that encourages outstanding practice.
• Identify clear teaching and learning objectives and set challenging tasks.
• Differentiate instruction for SEN, very able, and average learners.
• Use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning.
• Maintain discipline in line with the school’s Behaviour for Learning Policy.
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies, questioning techniques, and appropriate resources, including ICT and library tools.
• Mark student work regularly, set progress targets, and provide feedback.
• Prepare and present reports to parents and contribute to curriculum development.
