Software Engineer – Backend or Full Stack

About the role

We are looking for Software Engineers to join Humai’s fast‑growing engineering team in Dubai. You can work as a Backend Engineer focusing on APIs, databases and infrastructure, or as a Full‑Stack Engineer building end‑to‑end features across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable micro‑services and APIs.
• Manage and optimise SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring high performance.
• Build, deploy and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• For full‑stack roles, create backend logic, data layers and front‑end interfaces, delivering complete features quickly.
• Respond to production incidents, diagnose issues and implement fixes before they impact users.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in backend development, databases (SQL & NoSQL) and micro‑services.
• Hands‑on experience scaling systems with real traffic and uptime requirements.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js or TypeScript for backend development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker and CI/CD workflows.
• Track record of building products from scratch, not just maintaining existing code.
