Software Engineer

About the role

xCube is seeking a Software Engineer who can take features from concept to production across the stack. You will work closely with Product and Design, use AI tools daily, and own the end‑to‑end delivery of features.

Key responsibilities

• Own feature delivery from build through release and post‑launch performance across UI, API and data.
• Collaborate early with Product and Design to pressure‑test ideas, anticipate technical challenges and define acceptance criteria.
• Deliver smaller features front‑to‑back on iOS, Android, web, and APIs; for complex work, partner with specialists while staying outcome‑focused.
• Use AI assistants for code understanding, prototyping, testing, debugging and documentation, reviewing output critically.
• Write automated tests, add logging/monitoring, and ensure security and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience with a track record of shipping features end‑to‑end.
• Strong ownership, bias for action and ability to resolve ambiguity independently.
• Comfortable working across the stack and collaborating with specialists when needed.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with Product, Design, QA and Engineering teams.

Required skills

• Frontend: React and TypeScript (mobile experience a plus).
• Backend: C# and .NET Core, REST APIs, microservices.
• Data: SQL Server or Oracle, NoSQL technologies such as Redis and Elasticsearch.
• CI/CD & Cloud: Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines) and Azure cloud services.
• Daily use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
