Software Engineer L – Full Stack

About the role

Talabat, the leading online food and grocery ordering platform in the MENA region, is looking for a Full‑Stack Software Engineer (Level L) to join its engineering team. You will work closely with product, data and other engineers to discover customer needs and deliver end‑to‑end solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to continuously discover and define customer and business problems.
• Design, develop, test and release software components for both backend and frontend domains.
• Ensure scalability and reliability of services while delivering value in small, frequent batches.
• Participate in improving team practices to become a self‑organised, continuously improving unit.
• Seek mentorship to grow into a product‑engineer capable of solving complete business problems.

Required profile

• Empathetic and able to build strong relationships with other engineers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Solid foundation in software engineering with experience in backend and frontend development.
