Solutions Architect – Operations & Guest Value Stream

About the role

The Solutions Architect will lead solution architecture for the Operations & Guest value stream, shaping scalable, resilient, and efficient operational capabilities. You will design end‑to‑end architectures that connect frontline teams, enterprise systems, data platforms, and digital channels to enable real‑time visibility, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern end‑to‑end solution architecture for operational transformation initiatives.
• Design scalable architectures for core operational domains such as flight operations, technical, training, and network operations.
• Architect integrations between operational systems, enterprise applications, platforms, and third‑party solutions.
• Define integration patterns using APIs, events, messaging, microservices, and batch processing.
• Enable real‑time operational monitoring and decision‑making through event‑driven architectures, operational data stores, dashboards, alerts, and workflow automation.
• Ensure operational data is accurate, governed, secure, and available for reporting, analytics, AI, and automation.
• Partner with Operations teams to translate business priorities into technology roadmaps.
• Assess vendor products and guide implementation choices for scalability, interoperability, and total cost of ownership.
• Provide architectural direction to product managers, analysts, delivery teams, developers, and vendors.
• Maintain architecture documentation, manage technical dependencies, risks, and technical debt.
• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities—including generative AI, machine learning, and agentic workflows—and recommend secure, scalable applications.
• Support agile delivery by defining architecture guardrails while enabling incremental business value.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing scalable architectures for complex operational domains.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns (APIs, event‑driven, microservices, messaging, batch).
• Deep understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams across digital, data, finance, procurement, and customer functions.
• Experience evaluating and applying AI/ML technologies in an operational context.
