Spa & Leisure Receptionist

About the role

Join the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah team as a Spa & Leisure Receptionist, delivering exceptional hospitality while ensuring smooth operation of the spa and leisure facilities. You will be the first point of contact for guests and members, creating memorable experiences that enhance their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and members warmly, answer inquiries and provide information on spa services, tennis courts, group classes and special events.
• Manage spa appointment schedules, confirm bookings and communicate changes promptly.
• Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs, verify information, collect payments and issue receipts.
• Handle phone calls and emails, responding to guest requests and providing accurate service details.
• Assist guests in selecting and purchasing retail products, offering recommendations.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and maintaining confidential guest records.
• Handle cash and credit‑card transactions, reconcile registers at shift start and end.
• Identify up‑selling and cross‑selling opportunities to increase revenue.
• Respond to guest complaints, research solutions and maintain calm during busy periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

Required profile

• Friendly, proactive and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hotel environment and build positive relationships with guests and team members.

Required skills

• Cash handling and POS system operation.
• Data entry and basic administrative software proficiency.
