Specialist - Business Development

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to support planning and execution of initiatives that attract, retain and grow technology‑ and engineering‑driven companies within Dubai Silicon Oasis. The role contributes to commercial growth, occupancy optimisation and positions the ecosystem as a leading live‑work‑innovate hub.

Key responsibilities

• Support business development across commercial, retail and community living assets to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
• Identify and engage technology, engineering, IT, R&D and innovation‑focused companies (MNCs, SMEs, startups) to locate or expand within DSO.
• Assist client acquisition, renewals and expansion opportunities, preparing proposals and coordinating meetings and site visits.
• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking and pricing analysis to inform decision‑making.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Planning, Finance, Leasing, Retail, Marketing, Operations) to progress opportunities and resolve requirements.
• Prepare reports, presentations and management summaries for internal governance and executive review; track pipeline progress and KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (mandatory).
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in Business Development, preferably within technology‑driven, engineering, innovation or knowledge‑based environments.
