Specialist Digitalization Engineer – Greenfield

About the role

The Specialist Digitalization Engineer (Greenfield) will lead digital engineering, information management and smart‑asset initiatives for a major offshore project in Abu Dhabi. Based on‑site at the client or contractor office, the role ensures seamless integration of digital tools, data standards and digital‑twin solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a project digitalization strategy aligned with ADNOC offshore standards.
• Define digital engineering requirements, data workflows, standards and governance frameworks.
• Lead the adoption of smart‑asset and digital‑twin methodologies for greenfield offshore facilities.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and vendors to capture engineering, procurement and construction data in compliance with project information standards.
• Monitor digital execution plans and ensure data readiness for operations, maintenance and asset performance management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital engineering or information management on large‑scale offshore projects.
• Familiarity with ADNOC digital transformation objectives and offshore standards.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data governance, digital‑twin concepts and smart‑asset frameworks.
