Specialist Electrical Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Specialist Electrical Engineer to support project safety, engineering, and delivery across the early work and FEED phases. The role acts on behalf of the Owner, coordinating with EPC/FEED contractors and ensuring compliance with design requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve Project Management and Electrical Engineering issues during early work and FEED phases.
• Review, approve, and comment on Contractor deliverables, design documents, and vendor submissions within specified timeframes.
• Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, Contractor, and Vendors, including design reviews, 3D model reviews, constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP, and HAZID sessions.
• Ensure quality procedures are established, maintained, and implemented by the EPC/FEED Contractor.
• Supervise and manage review and approval of Contractor work to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate engineering participation in design option analysis, layout reviews, and technical workshops.
• Provide technical assistance and coordinate with other discipline engineers, and oversee auditing activities of the EPC/FEED Contractor.
