Specialist Family Medicine Physician

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Family Medicine Physician to work on site. The physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals and families, focusing on preventive medicine, acute illnesses and the long-term management of chronic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services to patients across different age groups.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and respiratory disorders.
• Conduct routine health assessments, preventive screenings and wellness consultations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide immunizations, health education and preventive care.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists when needed and maintain continuity of care through follow-ups and counseling.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient safety.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB in Family Medicine or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Experience in primary care, preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication and interpersonal skills.
