Specialist Fraud Management (Emiratized)

About the role

The Specialist Fraud Management role is responsible for managing and supporting Etisalat's fraud management policy and control framework. The position ensures effective monitoring, detection, mitigation, and prevention of fraud across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse system‑generated alerts and reports to identify suspicious activities and potential fraud incidents.
• Configure, maintain, and optimise fraud detection systems and tools for timely detection.
• Conduct regular system health checks, performance reviews and ensure system integrity.
• Coordinate with IT and vendor teams for upgrades, enhancements and troubleshooting of fraud management platforms.
• Develop and implement new rules, algorithms and parameters to adapt to emerging fraud patterns.
• Support the fraud management policy framework, including monitoring rules and defining roles and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with other departments to communicate fraud risks, provide recommendations and prepare dashboards for management.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards, trends and best practices through professional networks.
• Support innovative initiatives such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for fraud detection.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests, reports and projects from stakeholders and contribute to the maturity of fraud management controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in the telecom sector.
• Proficiency with relevant software and tools used in fraud detection and reporting.
