Specialist Gynecology

About the role

The Specialist Gynecologist will join Phoenix Hospital in Abu Dhabi to deliver comprehensive gynecological care. This full‑time, on‑site position involves outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage diverse gynecological conditions, providing evidence‑based treatment and counseling.
• Perform common gynecological procedures and minimally invasive interventions, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Maintain accurate medical records, follow clinical protocols, and contribute to quality‑improvement and patient‑safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support clinical teaching and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency or specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid UAE specialist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, patient‑assessment, and evidence‑based practice skills.
• Effective communication, culturally sensitive counseling, and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
