Specialist Internal Medicine – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Specialist in Internal Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for adult patients, ensuring adherence to DOH regulations and international clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic adult medical conditions across a broad spectrum of specialties.
• Provide full‑time inpatient and outpatient internal medicine services, including emergency stabilization.
• Interpret laboratory results, ECGs, radiological imaging and other diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with other specialists and allied health professionals, supervising junior doctors and contributing to teaching and research.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records, participate in clinical audits, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Internal Medicine (MD, Arab Board, MRCP, CCT, American Board, Canadian Fellowship, Australian Fellowship or equivalent).
• Valid DOH licence or eligibility letter for a Specialist in Internal Medicine.
• Eligibility to obtain or maintain international board certification is preferred.
