Specialist Material Resources Planning

About the role

We are seeking a Specialist Material Resources Planning to manage MRP and inventory planning across EtihadWE, ensuring material availability and optimizing inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to guarantee timely stock availability for operations, maintenance, connections, and projects.
• Conduct continuous inventory reviews for main and satellite warehouses according to approved replenishment cycles.
• Analyze stock levels against safety stock, reorder point, reorder quantity, maximum and target inventory parameters.
• Identify materials below reorder point and initiate replenishment through the purchase requisition process.
• Calculate replenishment quantities considering open purchase orders, stock in transit, pending returns, and target inventory levels.
• Prepare shortage reports for ad‑hoc material requirements outside regular cycles.
• Coordinate with end users to validate demand forecasts, consumption trends, and material criticality.
• Review historical consumption and demand trends to support accurate forecasting.
• Collaborate with sourcing and procurement to obtain lead‑time information and align replenishment with delivery timelines.
• Support the Annual Procurement Plan by consolidating material requirements and validating quantities.
• Maintain SAP/MM planning parameters and material master data related to MRP.
• Monitor slow‑moving, excess, obsolete, and dead stock and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate stock transfers between main and satellite warehouses based on target inventory levels.
• Prepare MRP, inventory, shortage, purchase requisition, zero‑stock, and inventory value reports for KPI monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material requirements planning and inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret consumption data and demand trends.
• Ability to work closely with end users, procurement, and logistics teams.
