Specialist - Operational Compliance & Standards

About the role

The Specialist – Operational Compliance & Standards will support the administration of flight operations manuals, documents and programmes. You will work closely with subject‑matter experts and regulatory bodies to ensure that policies, procedures and operational instructions meet civil aviation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate revision of OM‑A policies, instructions and procedures related to weight & balance, aircraft performance, ground handling, flight time limitations, dispatch and flight planning.
• Maintain and seasonally update the Cold Weather Operations Manual and Holdover Time Guidelines.
• Prepare, review and issue Aircrew Notices (ACNs) and internal memos.
• Support internal and external audits, implement corrective actions and conduct root‑cause analyses.
• Identify gaps between manuals and civil aviation regulations and advise on corrective measures.
• Develop compliance matrices and perform gap analyses for GCAA and IOSA inspections.
• Collaborate with the Technical Author to publish and revise flight operations manuals.
• Assist in the quality control of regulatory compliance functions and the refinement of OM‑A policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of experience in aviation operations, compliance or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and regulatory authorities.
• Strong analytical mindset for root‑cause and gap analyses.
