Specialist Ophthalmologist – HealthHub Clinic, Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a DHA‑licensed Specialist Ophthalmologist with deep expertise in anterior segment ophthalmology to join HealthHub Clinic in Al Qusais, Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality eye care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring seamless clinical and surgical workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist ophthalmology services focusing on anterior segment conditions.
• Diagnose and manage cataracts, corneal disorders (keratoconus, dystrophies, infections) and anterior uveitis.
• Perform anterior segment surgeries such as cataract extraction, pterygium excision, intraocular lens implantation and related procedures.
• Oversee pre‑operative, operative and post‑operative care for both OP and IP patients.
• Maintain continuity of coverage across clinic and hospital services in line with departmental workflow.
• Conduct vision assessments, prescribe corrective lenses and interpret diagnostic tests including corneal topography and anterior segment OCT.
• Prescribe ophthalmic medications, keep accurate medical records and counsel patients on treatment options and preventive care.

Required profile

• DHA license to practice as a Specialist Ophthalmologist in the UAE.
• Extensive experience in anterior segment ophthalmology within dual (OP/IP) settings.
• Proven ability to manage surgical lists and inpatient pathways.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
