Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon – UAE (Competitive Package)

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its orthopedic outpatient, trauma and elective surgical services. The specialist will join a modern, quality‑driven clinical team serving a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative diseases, fractures and other orthopedic conditions.
• Perform orthopedic procedures within the chosen subspecialty, including arthroscopy, arthroplasty, trauma fixation, and hand/foot surgeries.
• Evaluate surgical candidates, obtain informed consent and oversee peri‑operative care.
• Collaborate with radiology, anaesthesia, physiotherapy, sports medicine and rehabilitation teams.
• Provide outpatient follow‑up, functional recovery plans and manage complications.
• Participate in surgical audit, theatre safety, infection prevention and clinical governance activities.

Required profile

• Internationally trained specialist orthopaedic surgeon with recognized qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/FRCS, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACS, Arab Board, MS/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
