Specialist - Pricing

About the role

GWC, a leading logistics and supply chain provider in the GCC, is seeking a Pricing Specialist to manage freight pricing requests. The role involves sourcing competitive rates, preparing quotations, and supporting the sales team to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review, and analyze freight pricing requests from Sales, KAM, and Customer Service teams.
• Source competitive rates from shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, trucking companies, co‑loaders, and other logistics partners.
• Prepare accurate quotations for air, ocean, and project cargo and update them in Salesforce CRM.
• Issue routing orders to agents and partners once business is confirmed.
• Maintain valid pricing for key trade lanes and monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth pricing processes and keep Sales updated on market developments.
• Prepare and submit regular pricing and performance reports to the Manager – Pricing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; logistics or supply chain qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics pricing.
• Practical experience in air, ocean, and project cargo pricing.
• Experience dealing with carriers, overseas agents, vendors, and logistics service providers.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Good understanding of air and ocean freight pricing and trade lanes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience using CRM or pricing systems such as Salesforce.
