Specialist Process Engineer

About the role

The Specialist Process Engineer will ensure technical assurance and compliance of contractor deliverables with Worley’s process specifications, codes, standards and best practices. The role focuses on HSE performance, process engineering schedule adherence, and coordination between the Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT), contractors and licensors.

Key responsibilities

• Verify technical integrity of project deliverables against legislation, codes, standards and the certification basis of design.
• Monitor, approve and witness contractor and licensor process engineering and design activities.
• Coordinate exchange of process documents between IPMT and contractors, acting as the single point of contact for licensor and contractor queries.
• Supervise the IPMT process engineering team, providing work direction and ensuring design works meet scope, specifications and HSE requirements.
• Review and approve process engineering schedules, change requests, technical queries and concession requests.
• Support procurement, construction and commissioning activities, including document approvals and final hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (minimum 4 years). Minimum 15 years experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• At least 5 years in a similar senior position on mega oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with GCC experience preferred.
• Experience on ADNOC projects and offshore projects is required.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
