Specialist Project Engineer

About the role

The Specialist Project Engineer will join KBR’s Project Management Consultancy team in Abu Dhabi, supporting a high‑profile offshore development for ADNOC. The role focuses on building and maintaining data‑driven dashboards and reporting solutions that enable effective project execution and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise Power BI dashboards and interactive reports for project performance monitoring.
• Create automated reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve data visibility.
• Collect and consolidate project data from ERP systems, Primavera P6, SAP, SharePoint and Excel.
• Analyse trends, risks and opportunities using advanced data‑visualisation techniques.
• Develop data models, calculations and KPIs with DAX and Power Query.
• Produce weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc management reports for senior leadership.
• Support earned value management, project controls and performance analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project performance reporting or business intelligence within an engineering or construction environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to executive audiences.
