Specialist Structural Engineer – Offshore FEED Project

About the role

KBR is seeking a Specialist Structural Engineer to lead and execute structural engineering activities for ADNOC offshore FEED projects. The role starts in Abu Dhabi and will move to the FEED location abroad for 6‑8 months before returning to the UAE. The project runs until 2028 with possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and oversee structural engineering tasks during FEED and detailed design phases.
• Develop design criteria, calculations, specifications and engineering reports for offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, bridges and equipment supports.
• Review and optimise concepts for constructability, installation, operability and maintainability.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC offshore standards, international codes and project specifications.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, constructability and safety studies.
• Provide specialist technical guidance to project teams and junior engineers.
