Specification & Sales Engineer

About the role

The Specification & Sales Engineer will prepare detailed technical specifications for interior design and architectural projects, ensuring product selections meet design intent, performance standards, and budget constraints. The role involves close collaboration with designers, architects, suppliers, and contractors on‑site in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed technical specifications, BOQs and product documentation for commercial, residential and public fit‑out projects.
• Review project drawings, evaluate product options, verify compliance with relevant standards and support value engineering while preserving design quality.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, attend client and site meetings, and provide technical guidance and submittals to sales and design teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of specified products and systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong technical understanding of interior design and architectural products with the ability to read and interpret design drawings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field; prior experience in specification or technical sales is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fluent in English.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
