Speech & Language Therapist (UAE National)

About the role

The Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammad Medical City is seeking a qualified Speech‑Language Therapist/Pathologist who is an UAE national. The role involves providing professional evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, cognitive, fluency, voice, swallowing and feeding disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of patients with developmental speech and language delays, social communication disorders, dysfluency and motor speech disorders under supervision.
• Develop and implement individualized and group treatment plans targeting attention, auditory processing, play, language understanding and expression, and speech production.
• Advise caregivers and professionals on communication and oro‑motor management, set and review specific therapeutic targets.
• Conduct comprehensive case histories and use standardized assessments to establish baselines and differential diagnoses.
• Deliver therapy interventions integrated into patients' daily routines and collaborate with internal and external agencies.
• Maintain therapeutic relationships, monitor equipment, and ensure infection‑control and safety standards.

Required profile

• UAE national with a recognized qualification in Speech‑Language Therapy or Pathology.
• Ability to work independently with supervision and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical reasoning and investigative skills for assessment and treatment planning.
