Sr. Machine Operator - Production

About the role

The Senior Machine Operator will ensure that all manufacturing equipment operates in compliance with cGMP principles and safety standards. Working closely with the maintenance and quality teams, the role guarantees smooth production runs and accurate batch documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare all work areas and equipment before production.
• Assemble and disassemble machinery according to approved procedures.
• Complete logbooks and obtain Quality Assurance clearance before batch release.
• Verify material availability, release status and expiry dates.
• Weigh materials, record dispensing data, and prepare coating solutions.
• Perform granulation, compression and coating operations following SOPs.
• Operate and monitor machines such as RMG, FBD, Multimill, Sifter, Compression and Coating units.
• Set up, start‑up and shut‑down equipment according to the production plan.
• Maintain process parameters within defined limits and report deviations immediately.
• Document weights of processed and rejected material, label containers accurately, and track batch loss.
• Execute equipment cleaning and changeover activities as per procedures and follow gowning SOPs.

Required profile

• Mechanical Diploma or minimum Intermediate (12th grade) education.
• At least 2 years of experience in oral solid dosage (OSD) manufacturing – granulation, compression or coating.
• Good command of English (reading, writing and speaking).
