Staff Nurse – ADH PHC (DFMC)

About the role

Al Dhafra Hospitals is seeking a Staff Nurse for the ADH‑PHC (DFMC) unit. The role involves delivering age‑appropriate patient care in line with the Nursing Scope of Practice and the organization’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinate individualized care from first contact through discharge.
• Supervise and mentor practical nurses, midwives, junior staff and student nurses; act as preceptor and in‑charge as required.
• Administer medications safely, monitor responses, report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records and ensure confidentiality.
• Participate in quality improvement, risk management and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience post‑qualification (experience requirement waived for UAE nursing graduates after internship).
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem‑solving and conflict‑management abilities.
• Commitment to professional standards, including the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and act as patient advocate.
