Staff Nurse - Emergency

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department in Ajman. The role involves delivering direct patient care, performing assessments, triage and interventions, and working closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, triage and provide timely emergency interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document all care activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, including assisting with diagnostic tests and minor procedures.
• Provide handover reports using the SBAR format and maintain clear communication.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans and post‑discharge care.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid UAE nursing license or eligibility.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
