Staff Nurse – Emergency

About the role

The Emergency Department at Al Sila Hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to deliver age‑appropriate, high‑quality patient care. The role involves direct clinical responsibilities, leadership within the nursing team, and collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and the nursing scope of practice.
• Administer medications safely, monitor patient responses, and report adverse drug reactions.
• Identify and act on significant changes in patient condition, escalating to physicians as needed.
• Supervise and mentor practical nurses, midwives, junior staff and nursing students.
• Participate in performance reviews, act as a preceptor for new staff, and support organizational change.
• Respond to emergencies following established protocols and ensure effective discharge planning.
