Staff Nurse - Emergency

About the role

The Emergency Department at Silla Hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to deliver high‑quality, age‑appropriate patient care. You will work within the Nursing Scope of Practice, uphold the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi, and support the hospital’s mission, vision, and values.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in line with hospital policies and unit scope.
• Administer medications safely, monitor patient responses, and report adverse drug reactions.
• Identify and act on significant changes in patient condition, escalating to supervisors or physicians as needed.
• Coordinate individualized care from admission through discharge, including discharge planning.
• Respond to emergencies according to organizational procedures.
• Supervise and precept practical nurses, junior staff, and student nurses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Participate in performance reviews, mentorship, and organizational change initiatives.
