Staff Nurse – OBGYN Ward

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ObGyn) Ward in Ajman. You will provide safe, high‑quality nursing care to women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, the post‑natal period, and for patients with gynaecological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high‑quality nursing care to obstetric and gynaecology patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, escalating concerns promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical guidelines.
• Support patients and families through pregnancy, post‑natal recovery, and gynaecological care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient‑centred care.
• Provide patient education on post‑natal care, newborn care, medications, and women’s health.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and infection‑control standards.
• Participate in quality‑improvement activities and ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid UAE nursing license or eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an OBGYN ward.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Required skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
