Staff Physician - Dermatology

About the role

The Staff Physician in Dermatology will join the medical staff at CCAD, providing expert clinical care for complex dermatologic conditions. The role combines direct patient management, procedural work, and participation in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and provide comprehensive dermatologic care to patients.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and specialized treatments.
• Analyze medical records, test results, and reports to establish diagnoses.
• Communicate procedures, test results, and treatment plans to patients.
• Perform dermatologic surgical procedures and operations as appropriate.
• Document patient encounters and coordinate referrals within the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with medical and non‑medical staff to ensure high‑quality, culturally sensitive care.
• Participate in committees, task forces, and performance‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Tier 1 qualification with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience, or Tier 2 qualification with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Valid medical license/registration in the home country or country of last employment.
• MD, MBBS, MBChB, DO or equivalent, with recognized dermatology specialty certification (e.g., American Board of Medical Specialties or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada).
• Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and managing complex dermatologic conditions.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, research, and evidence‑based practice.
